Caroline and Josh’s black tie Eastern Shore wedding at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake was a joyous celebration spent telling their love story. After years of dating, it was finally time for Caroline and Josh’s story to become one. While planning their elegant black tie affair, making family the forefront of their day, and being in the moment were top priorities. Caroline and Josh’s excitement and pure happiness was infectious and felt by all in attendance. It was clear through all the planning that each detail was carefully curated specifically for their black tie wedding. 

The couple chose the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort in Cambridge, Maryland as a nod to their shared memories growing up on the Eastern Shore. While both sides of the family live outside of the area, it made for a beautiful and relaxing getaway to celebrate their love story. Throughout their black tie Eastern Shore wedding, the elements of Josh and Caroline’s life together were evident, with custom hot sauce party favors, escort cards made of oysters by Caroline and her sisters, and a personalized family crest. The elements found throughout their wedding were unique and integral to telling their love story.

The couple opted for an intimate first look, it was such a romantic and emotional moment shared between Caroline and Josh. Josh got so emotional seeing Caroline for the first time that day! Caroline wore her mother’s wedding dress, which she carefully redesigned for their black tie Eastern Shore wedding, making the moment that much more memorable. 

Later, Caroline and Josh went to their bayside wedding ceremony to choose one another forever. Earlier that day, in Josh’s letter to his bride, he wrote, “I can’t wait to say ‘I do’ to the great love of my life.” The love that was felt during their bayside wedding ceremony was palpable, and his words couldn’t have been truer. Caroline and Josh were so joyfully present all day, and were truly taking in the moments of their once in a lifetime black tie Eastern Shore wedding. 

Towards the end of the evening, Caroline and Josh hosted a party for all to enjoy. Filled with a surprise musical number, toasts, glow sticks, and guests surrounding the couple as Sweet Caroline played. Caroline and Josh’s black tie Eastern Shore wedding was filled with thoughtful detail, and memories to last a lifetime.
