Whether you’re just visiting or you’re a seasoned local, Miami Beach is the perfect location for any engagement session! Plus all the sand was the perfect neutral backdrop for Daphne and Ricardo’s session, featuring a bouquet made by the future bride herself!
I met Daphne on Instagram back in 2019, when I was looking for vendors to work with for a project. I stumbled across her floral page and was blown away by her talent and impressive eye for details. Her business, De La Fleur Designs, was still in its beginning stages. Yet it already had a stunningly refined, graceful style. I had no doubt she would be the next to watch amongst Miami wedding florists.
Daphne has the ability to perfectly capture what her clients are looking for and never ceases to amaze me with her talent. Flowers are so much more to her than just flowers – they are her passion and a labor of love in her business. De La Fleur Designs truly captures the essence of hard work and creativity.
As fellow night owls, I was thrilled I was able to talk to Ricardo and Daphne into a sunrise session for their spring engagement session. Meeting in the morning meant we had the beach to ourselves. I strongly recommend a sunrise session (for east coast beaches) because the light is incredibly gorgeous, and the partly cloudy mornings photograph so beautifully. Beach sessions also makes it easy to skip the shoes! Early mornings might not be for everyone, but when we get a private beach view of the sunrise, I can’t complain.
Bouquets are great at session beyond just your wedding! Florist or not, flowers are a great addition to any engagement session for an elevated, editorial feel or just a extra dose of spring at any location, beyond just a garden. Daphne’s engagement session bouquet was the perfect pop of color for their North Miami Beach session. We recommend coordinating with your wedding colors. If you’re using these photos for your save the date, the bouquet is such a fun splash of color!
