Ivy Creek Natural Area is a Charlottesville engagement session location, perfect for any couple looking to get outdoors and spend time together in nature. The location is just a short 15 minute drive north from town. But the little patch of trees and fields makes it easy to feel like you’re quite secluded in nature!
Jenn and John’s Ivy Creek Engagement Session was filled with laughter and so much excitement for what is to come. What I loved about these two was how goofy, and full of life and love they are. Although they are self-proclaimed introverts, their session tells a different story. They’re so at ease with each other, they had no problem showing off their goofy personalities throughout their session.
Jenn and John have been together for over 12 years and decided it was time to take the next step. They met at Penn State, and are now living in Williamsburg together. Jenn took a huge risk moving from Pennsylvania to Williamsburg, but has loved every minute of it. They have been together for over 14 years now. I remember them telling me – “we are each other’s best friend.”
Like a lot of other couples, Jenn and John ended up spending a lot of extra time together over the past year while they worked from home. And also like many couples, unfortunately they had to postpone their 2020 wedding. However, they didn’t let this get them down. We had so much fun imagining the possibilities when we toured the Wool Factory together! Not only are they an incredibly fun-loving couple but they are so uniquely themselves. They plan to have games at their wedding for their guests to enjoy together.
As fellow foodies, some of their favorite date night food spots in Williamsburg include Aticha Thai and La Tolteca. John is also a big cook and loves cooking for Jenn at home. They also have a big sweet tooth – Jenn loves chocolate chip cookies, and John is all about sour gummies.
Throughout their Ivy Creek Natural Area engagement session, we laughed, and celebrated them as a couple moving forward together. I can’t wait for their October 2021 wedding!
