Katlan and Ross’s summer Belle Isle engagement session was filled with love and four-legged friends! We ventured out to Belle Isle late in the evening ahead of the gorgeous golden hour light that can be found there around sunset. Their summer Belle Isle engagement session was filled with laughter and fun while soaking in the incredible summer warmth in Richmond. 

A great perk of Belle Isle is that it’s very dog friendly! We wanted to make sure Storm and Rogue would be a welcome part of their session. While Storm was a bit more camera-shy, Rogue was all about. It took them a minute to get settled in around all the new people, but then they were both so well-behaved and photogenic! Since their fur babies won’t be allowed at the wedding, this was a great way to include their pups in the process.

Katlan and Ross chose the Renaissance for their wedding this fall, and it’s going to be so incredibly beautiful. The Renaissance is located in Richmond, and has been around for almost 20 years. With its classic Victorian feel, this location is perfect for an upscale and timeless wedding for any Richmond couple looking to celebrate the rich history in Virginia. With beautiful chandeliers and 30-foot tall ceilings, The Renaissance is the perfect location for a fall Virginia wedding!
