Sometimes it’s the simplest elements of a wedding that really pop the most. Throughout this styled wedding we were inspired by the colorful and elegant touches found in Spanish tiles. We focused on showcasing the bright colors found throughout their designs.
The bright colored florals were a welcome pop of color, bringing the event to life. Rhonda of Cakes Couture created a beautifully unique abstract design on the wedding cake. Simple elements like a cake become instrumental to the overall design and vibe of the day. The cake was used in a couple of ways throughout the shoot, we styled it with florals and then with fruit to tie in our featured drink the citrus and berry sangria.
The delicate lace and white details found in the brides’ attire were a perfect accent to the bold colors found throughout the Spanish styled wedding. The bright and colorful elements found in the venue, food, and florals were a welcome change and the perfect inspiration for a summer wedding celebrating with family and friends.
Throughout the event we had some incredible custom designed elements, such as, the tile design created by Kelly of The Traveled Lane, and the tie clip featured an outline of Spain on the back! Adding little unique touches to celebrate the Spanish culture was so much fun.
Bringing the whole event together, were the food & drinks celebrating Spain and the culture there. Being the foodie I am, I was most excited for this element of the day. Chef Juan Carlos, the Executive Chef of Toro, created two mouth-watering authentic paellas that were to die for. They were the perfect touch to create a warm and welcoming environment, on the beautiful tablescapes.
This Spanish-Inspired event was filled with joy and creative magic and we had a blast. The day was filled with celebration and appreciation for the beautiful Spanish culture, and the incredible designs found throughout.
